The library will be changing the software it uses to checkout, place holds, catalog items, etc. The new software should be ready to go February 12th. This process has been ongoing since last year with little to no patron impact. Starting January 23 patrons may now be impacted. The library can not add any new items until February 12th. Starting February 6th holds can no longer be placed an new patrons can’t get cards. Everything should be back to normal February 12th. Please continue to come into the library to get items but remember we are going through a change and some things may not be able to be accomplished. Fingers crossed, the new software won’t give us any problems and the transition will be smooth.

There is now a designated area just for Young Adults. ALL Non-Fiction, Junior through Adult, can be found in the South-East corner. The Children’s movies are now on the shelf near the other movies, with red dots identifying them. If you can’t find something when you come in please don’t hesitate to ask.
